Unique & Entertaining Events for good causes
This will be the final year for the Catoctin Challenge. Once again we are pleased to be raising funds for Camp Greentop with the League for People with Disabilities.
Camp Greentop with The League for People with Disabilities provides recreational programs at a camp, located in Frederick County Maryland, for youth and adults with disabilities such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome and traumatic brain injury.
The Catoctin Challenge provides cyclists with great food, entertainment, ice cold adult and other beverages, and surprise entertainment. This is a you-don't-want-to-miss great bicycle ride.
We limit our participants to 100 riders so that we can treat them right! No long lines, no hassle registration - just a great scenic and challenging route, fabulous entertainment, and delicious food.
The rides begin in Frederick or Thurmont, Maryland, depending on your route and will lead you through the Catoctin mountains and into the Lodge in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. You spend the night, have fun, and cycle back to Frederick the next day.
You have a variety of routes to choose from - and we have something for all levels of riders.
- 20 miles - Ricky's Sprint Ride
- 35 miles - Phil's Revenge Ride (14 miles on Sunday)
- 50 miles - Steve Carrol Marlboro Man 50 (14 miles on Sunday)
- 65 miles - The David and Rex Duet (35 miles on Sunday)
- 100 miles - The Mark Schneider Memorial Century with 35 miles on Sunday
Fundraising is easy because you will be given access to your personal fundraising website when your registration is received. Each rider is asked to raise at least $250 - but imagine how much good you can do if you raise even more.
Registration and Entry Fees -
2. Try to raise at least $250 for the League of People with Disabilities
